Five tips to improve SEO rankings

Running a blog is a fun!
You work with your own schedule, you are your own boss. If you spend all of your time on writing and never care about who's reading it, is it fair? no.
You need real audience who read and engage with your quality content. For that, you look at the search engines. They will help you out in finding the right audience.

What is SEO

SEO is the term for Search Engine Optimization. When you want to get visitors from search engines like Google and bing etc, you opptimize your website to rank high in search engines. This is what we call SEO. For example, when people search anything related to your site content, your website will show up.
SEO is a very important thing in your blogging career. In fact, it’s a must-have thing for your blog.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is used to increase the blog traffic. If you get success in ranking your site well on search engines, half of your job is done. You will write your fresh content and thousands of people will be there to read it.
There are many tips which can help you to increase your SEO rankings; I’m sharing just five. These are very effective and easy to implement tips. You will have to apply these tips on your website. There are many tips you can apply on the post or page, I will try to share them later.

1. A good-looking website/blog

Website/blog design is the very first thing to focus. A blog is unorganized, posts are shown and nothing.
Another blog is well-organised, you get subscribtion box, social media icons, organized pages and managed posts.
These are the two kinds of a blog. Now, which blog will you like the most? The first one or the second one?
Of course, the second one. Because of its looks and quality. In your daily life also, you like the things of greater quality and looks; same formula applies in the case of online presence. People like the websites and blogs that have modern designs. For the better user experience, search engines also rank well-designed blogs at the top of the list.
Spend some hours on finding a best design for your blog and rank higher on the search engines.

2. Organised pages

I used the term “Organised pages” before. Pages are pages, what is the use of the word “Organised” here?
Let me explain. A page is not just a page, it tells the search engines about what your website contains. An about page is a best example of it.
Choose the page title according to your website. If you are running a blog alone, instead of using “About us”, use “About me” or just “About”.
Always check the page URL before publishing it. Your page URL should be www.theutechsblog.com/about
the page URL should be in letters. A numeric page URL will surely cost you lose your SEO rankings.

3. A contact page

A contact page is a very useful page for your visitors. It allows the visitors to contact you. Make sure to add this page to your site. This shows that the website is reliable.
Websites with a contact page perform great on search engines too.
If you have not added a contact page, add it today and tell the search engines that you are reliable.

4. Add a list

Find the blogs of your niche and place them on the blog list of your site. This is a great thing to do. In this way, your blog visitors can learn more about the specific niche. This technique works on search engines.
Sites with other blog links have good performance on search engines.

5. Be consistent

Where ever you are, whatever you do, consistency is always important. If you are not consistent, you lose the 90% game before playing. If you compare consistency and quantity, consistency is better.
If you are writing daily just to increase the number of your posts, this will not work for you. But if you are working with consistency, bringing new ideas, you will rock.
People also don’t read boring content. When people will not stay on your site for long, you will automatically get low exposure on search engines because search engines like Google and Bing seek for the great user experience. And if user experience is good on your site, your SEO will boost up day by day.
So, be consistent and concentrate on the quality of your content. Quality is better than quantity.

Conclusion

SEO is the very important aspect for your blog. Never avoid it. You work very hard to creaate a post, always keep your audience and search engines in mind.
Good luck!
